In the book i liked Lily because first she never gave up second because shes very strong and third shes not like her father and shes very respectful...

2~What message is the author trying to tell you the reader? What dose the message mean to you?
I think that the author was trying to tell me that the racism is not good and that we should get a long no matter what and that we are all good people and I'm very happy who i am like Lily knows who she is and what she wants to do I've planed my future already and i give Lily props for being strong...

I LIKE THE BOOK A LOT BECAUSE IT WAS A TYPE OF BOOK THAT I WANTED TO KEEP READING TO KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN AND TO ME THE BOOK WAS NICE AND INTERESTING. THE BOOK WAS BETTER THAN THE MOVIE BECAUSE I UNDERSTOOD THE BOOK BETTER. I KNEW WHO WAS WHO BECAUSE IN THE MOVIE THEY LOOKED ALL THE SAME AND IN THE MOVIE I GOT ALL MIXED UP. BUT TO TELL THE TRUTH THEY WERE BOTH GOOD AND ETHER WAY I LOVE THE BOOK AND THE MOVIE WAS INTERESTING BUT I LIKE THE BOOK BETTER BECAUSE I DIDN'T NOW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND WHEN I WATCH THE MOVIE I KIND OF NEW SO IT WASN'T THAT GOOD.
